  Absolutely the worst fish and chips I have ever TRIED to eat. Instead of a delicious piece of white , flaky, creamy cod, I got a mass of white texture-less, flavour-less,...well there is no words to describe the rubbish.
  Sack the cooks, they clearly don't understand how to cook a piece of fish.
  If you work from the premise that most fish can be eaten raw, you can't really under cook fish but you can so easily over cook it - which these people do rather well.....then to make sure it's exactly what you DON'T want they stick under those heat lamps to ensure the fish is properly dried out and the batter properly soggy.
  Yep these people are the kings and queens of their craft - how to screw up the simplest of English meals............disapointed and very much out of pocket. Thank god for reviews eh!!

  Fantastic fish and chips for a great price. There's a restaurant section as well as a take away. Toilets are always very clean. The vibe here is great and Elwin really adds a personal touch to the experience...and thank you for coming!!!!

  Chips were stone cold fish was over cooked and the customer service was non existant i have used palmers for years but it seems that in the past couple of years their standards have slipped dramatically.
